If you are connecting your Xero subscription data to one or more bespoke, “private apps”, built specifically for your organisation, all apps need to be migrated to the new authentication system, OAuth 2.0, by 30 September 2021.

To upgrade, the creator of your private app(s) will need to make some changes at their end. There are a few ways your private apps can be moved to OAuth 2.0, Xero suggest you talk to your developer about which option is best for you.

Please note, if you’re using apps listed on Xero’s App Marketplace, there is nothing you need to do.

You can find a list of the apps your organisation is connected to on the “Connected Apps” page within Xero (Settings >> Connected Apps).
