I joined Campbell Tyson in 2019 as part of a merger with my previous firm, Skipper Lay and Associates. Having previously worked in a Big 4 firm both in Auckland and London, I am really enjoying being part of a larger team again. It allows me to draw on the experience and knowledge of my colleagues so that I can best advise and service my clients.
I am a member of two professional Institutes (Chartered Accountants Australia and The New Zealand and The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland). I hold a Public Practice certificate from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
I come from a strong tax advisory background and now specialise in providing general business advice, tax planning and advisory services to a broad range of clients across a wide range of businesses. I really enjoy getting to know my clients to help them achieve their overall business and personal goals.
Outside of work, I have chaired the boards of a local primary school and a local business association. I married a Kiwi and moved to New Zealand from the UK in 2003 at which time a rural property close to Papakura became home to my family and our various animals. The list of sports I enjoy is long and varied with success at international level along the way.
