Towards the end of October, Inland Revenue are carrying out system upgrades and their services will be temporarily unavailable during this time. Work will be carried out over Labour Weekend, closing at 3pm on Thursday 21st October and reopening on the morning of Thursday 28th October. 

During this time, myIR and Gateway services will be unavailable and phone lines and offices will be closed. Employment Information (EI) returns for payday filing and due dates for GST returns and provisional tax will also be affected. The filing and payment date for GST and 28 October provisional tax will be extended until 4 November (dependent on passing an Order in Council).
