Upcoming changes to Xero subscription pricing

We wanted to let you know about an upcoming change to Xero subscription pricing.

From 1 October 2026, Xero will be increasing the price of most of its subscription plans for New Zealand customers. We wanted to give you advance notice, so there are no surprises when your next subscription invoice arrives.

The new monthly pricing (excluding GST) will be:

• Ignite: $37 (previously $35)

• Grow: $89 (previously $83)

• Comprehensive: $117 (previously $110)

• Ultimate: $135 (previously $125)

If you're on an Ultimate plan and use payroll for more than 10 employees, the cost for each additional employee will increase from $1 to $2 per employee, per month (excluding GST).

If you currently receive a promotional discount on your Xero subscription, that discount will continue until it expires. Xero has also advised it will begin phasing out its multi-organisation discount from 1 October 2026.

You don't need to do anything. The new pricing will automatically apply from 1 October 2026. As Campbell Tyson invoices Xero subscriptions quarterly in arrears, the first impact of this price change will be reflected on your 30 November 2026 Campbell Tyson invoice.

While price increases are never ideal, these changes reflect Xero’s ongoing investment in the platform and the new features it continues to introduce.
